The Dual Output Power Converter is a true on line uninterruptible power supply (UPS) delivering clean conditioned power for shipboard naval applications.
The dual output UPS is designed to meet a variety of military applications and supplies 250 watts of conditioned 24V DC output power and 1kW of conditioned AC output power. The internal battery tray offers 3 seconds of holdup up time.
The UPS is designed to survive harsh operating environments and can be used for portable or hard mounted applications. Its robust enclosure is drip proof protected and designed to survive NBC chemical wash down requirements. Designed for global deployment, it will operate from an AC power source of 100–250V at 47-63Hz.
The outputs of the UPS provides high quality power with a pure sinewave AC output suitable for powering nonlinear loads with a high crest factor requirement and a low noise DC output suitable for powering critical electronic loads.
The UPS uses active DSP based power factor correction such that when powered from the AC source, the input current drawn is sinusoidal with low harmonic distortion and near-unity power factor.
The UPS also functions as a power conditioner, blocking surges, spikes and transients from the input sources while maintaining reliable and stable outputs to sensitive equipment.
